Paris, November 23, 2024 – Air Similan is proud to announce the upcoming expansion of its fleet with the acquisition of three Airbus A319-100 aircraft. This new addition marks a significant milestone in the airline's commitment to providing high-quality services and meeting the growing needs of its passengers.

Air Similan's current fleet, comprising state-of-the-art aircraft, is renowned for its modernity and efficiency. To date, the fleet includes 10 Airbus A320-200, 10 Boeing 737-800, and 4 Boeing 777-300ER. These aircraft have enabled the airline to successfully operate key destinations worldwide, with the Boeing 777-300ER covering long-haul routes and the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 handling regional and medium-haul flights.

Due to the continuous evolution of its operations and the increasing demand for regional flights, Air Similan has identified the need for a smaller capacity aircraft to serve more destinations while maintaining an excellent level of comfort. After thorough analysis and several months of consideration, Air Similan has decided to strengthen its commitment to Airbus and the A320 family by integrating the Airbus A319-100 into its fleet.

The Airbus A319-100 is known for its maneuverability and fuel efficiency, making it an optimal choice for regional flights. This aircraft offers a pleasant flying experience and is particularly well-suited for operations in France and Europe, where regional markets are constantly evolving.

Air Similan is therefore delighted to announce the future acquisition of three pre-owned Airbus A319-100 from a previous A319 operator. This acquisition allows the airline to optimize costs while benefiting from aircraft in excellent operating condition.
