Find Air Similan at Orly
Paris, March 12, 2022 | Air Similan is pleased to announce today the addition of a new base to its network.
After Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG/LFPG) and Nice-Côte d'Azur (NCE/LFMN), it is the turn of the second French airport, Paris-Orly (ORY/LFPO), to join the Air Similan network as an operational base. This is the next step for Air Similan allowing it to increase its domestic offer on departure from Paris, in addition to that offered from Roissy.
Using a base fleet of two aircraft, consisting of an Airbus A320-200 (in its regional configuration) and a Boeing 737-800, Orly will open the doors to new alternatives for reaching major French cities such as Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice or Ajaccio while enjoying the service and comfort offered by Air Similan, from a more convenient airport and closer to Paris, accessible in just 25 minutes from the city.
From an operational point of view, crews trained and based at Paris-Charles de Gaulle will now be able to operate from Orly, without any additional training. They will have the possibility to operate from CDG or ORY, whenever and as they wish, subject to availability.
The addition of Orly to the Air Similan network also allows the launch of a new route from the Nice-Côte d'Azur base, to Paris-Orly.
