This strategic acquisition includes a firm order for five Airbus A320neo aircraft, with five additional options, five Airbus A321neo aircraft, as well as two Airbus A350-900 aircraft, accompanied by two additional options. This fleet renewal marks a major turning point for the virtual airline and strengthens its commitment to delivering an even more immersive and realistic flight experience.

A Modernized and Optimized Fleet

The integration of five Airbus A320neo aircraft, with five additional options, aligns with Air Similan’s progressive fleet modernization strategy for short- and medium-haul operations. These aircraft will replace the current Airbus A320ceo and Boeing 737-800 models, offering enhanced performance through 15% lower fuel consumption and reduced noise emissions. With a slightly extended range, the A320neo will allow pilots to experience an even greater level of realism, particularly in flight management and performance optimization.

The addition of five Airbus A321neo aircraft marks a significant milestone in Air Similan’s strategy. With its extended range, this aircraft enables the operation of longer routes than those accessible with the A320neo, opening new possibilities for medium-haul flights and select transcontinental routes. Featuring greater payload capacity, it will provide Air Similan with increased flexibility in managing cargo and fuel loads while benefiting from the technological advancements of the A320neo family. This acquisition will expand Air Similan’s network to destinations previously out of reach for its single-aisle fleet.

The selection of the Airbus A350-900 complements Air Similan’s long-haul offerings in perfect synergy with the four Boeing 777-300ER aircraft already in service.
