Welcome to our first Boeing 737-800
Paris, May 14, 2020 | After a ferry flight from Boeing Field Airport (BFI / KBFI) to Seattle and after a stopover of almost 18 hours at Keflavik (KEF / BIKF) in Iceland, the first Air Boeing 737-800 Similan, registered F-MFLA, landed well last night around 7 p.m. at its Paris hub Charles De Gaulle.
The aircraft, which can accommodate a total of 172 passengers in a two-class configuration, including 20 passengers in a so-called European Business class, will begin service with the tricolor company in the coming days. He will descend today to Dijon to conduct laps and train the company's first pilots on the Boeing 737.
Air Similan has placed an order for five Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and four of them are still in Seattle.
